Responsibilities

Design and deploy repeatable, scalable, and secure cloud infrastructure

Support the migration and integration of data into cloud-based systems

Develop automated cloud tools and pipelines to improve performance and reliability

Partner with multidisciplinary teams to tailor solutions to evolving mission and business needs

Ensure designs balance stability, scalability, and user experience

Required

a current TS/SCI with Polygraph

a degree Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field (or equivalent professional experience)

Cloud Certification (Design/Architecture) with one or more providers: AWS Certified Solutions Architect (Preferred), Azure Architect Expert, Google Cloud Professional Architect

Expertise in: Compute and storage services within cloud environments

Cloud networking and security frameworks (e.g., VPCs, IAM, encryption)

Serverless technologies (e.g., AWS Lambda, Azure Functions, Google Cloud Run)

Database proficiency: SQL and/or NoSQL databases (native or third-party)

Data pipeline and ETL tools: AWS Glue, Apache NiFi, or similar

Machine Learning in the Cloud: Deploying and managing models using AWS SageMaker, Google Vertex AI, or equivalent

Programming & Containerization: Python, Kubernetes, Docker

Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Terraform, AWS CDK, CloudFormation, or equivalent

Collaboration: Proven experience leading or contributing to multi-disciplinary technical teams

Communication: Ability to convey complex technical topics to non-technical audiences
