Responsibilities

Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary finance team to analyze and optimize the data integrity processes for the NYP Enterprise
Maintain the data integrity of Strata (the hospital's cost accounting system) by performing regular data checks for all facilities (e.g., daily/weekly KPI trends)
Document changes to data structures and process flows
Perform routine database maintenance and troubleshooting
Test/analyze/implement Strata system upgrade/modifications
Compile/maintain system and user data documentation
Collaborate and investigate questions/issues with Information Technology and Analytics partners

Qualification

Strata/EPSiCost accountingSQL databasesMicrosoft ExcelMicrosoft PowerPointData analysisInterpersonal skillsCommunication skills

Required

Must be proficient in Microsoft Excel and Powerpoint
Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, or other related discipline
Minimum of 3 years of related experience
Strong data and analytical skills
Strong interpersonal and communication skills

Preferred

Proficient in Strata/EPSi, EPIC, Lawson
Proven proficiency in cost accounting design/methodology and previous experience in healthcare preferred but not required
Knowledgeable in maintaining health care decision support systems or SQL databases
