New Grad, Entry LevelHTH Communications is seeking a Directional Driller Locator to work in underground drilling operations. The role involves interpreting signals from underground transmitters and assisting the drill operator while ensuring compliance with safety and operational specifications.

Responsibilities
Interpret signals from underground transmitters about location, angle, temperature, and other factors for the drill operator
Handle the drill
Direct the locating of utilities to avoid utility strikes
Ensure that vaults are set according to specifications
Ability to read blueprints and drawings
Ensure that pipe/cable is placed in accordance with depth and location specifications
Ensure that all MISS-DIG laws are always followed
Qualification
Required
Minimum High School Diploma or equivalent
Valid Driver's License
Ability and willingness to always follow all safety requirements
Ability to lift 75lbs unassisted
Proficient with hand and power tools
Available to work 40 hours per week and willing to work overtime when required
Willing to travel if needed and willing to work in all-weather conditions
Self-motivated and able to work unsupervised as well with a team
Preferred
CDL is a plus
Prior directional drilling/locator experience valued but not required
