Responsibilities
Build, manage, and optimize Kubernetes clusters for highly available systems
Administer AWS infrastructure using Terraform and modern IaC practices
Create and maintain automated CI/CD pipelines for containerized applications
Troubleshoot and resolve issues across infrastructure, networks, and deployments
Implement monitoring, alerting, and site reliability improvements
Collaborate closely with engineering teams to streamline release processes
Ensure compliance with security and governance standards
Continuously identify opportunities for automation and operational excellence
Qualification
Required
5+ years of DevOps experience supporting distributed systems
Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, Terraform, AWS, and Docker
Proven track record of managing production-grade Kubernetes clusters
Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python or Bash
Experience with GitOps tools (Flux, ArgoCD) and CI/CD platforms (GitHub Actions)
Familiarity with observability tools such as Datadog, Prometheus, or Grafana
Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
Strong organizational skills and ability to thrive in a startup environment
Preferred
Active security clearance preferred (not required)
Experience supporting 24/7 production systems is a plus
Active or previous security clearance is highly desirable
