Information Systems Technical Analyst

The role involves collaborating with a team to enhance service delivery processes and support various technology solutions for clients.
Non-profit Organization Management
Responsibilities
Developing an understanding of business processes, technical skills, project requirements, and the client’s business in a variety of industries
Assisting in the implementation of IT systems, data migrations, data analyses/visualizations
Providing IT managed services to Protiviti clients including custom configurations and application support
Supporting our IT Audit practice in testing internal controls and segregation of duties
Fostering and maintaining an internal and external network
Learning in-demand skills for configuration and application support Microsoft Power Apps, Oracle, PeopleSoft, Salesforce and OneTrust
Analysis
Performing testing of IT controls using pre-defined instructions/guidance within recognized frameworks (e.g. Sarbanes-Oxley, NIST CSF, etc.)
Evaluating system configurations, security settings, and user roles for various systems
Assisting in data acquisition, migrations, visualizations and interpretation
Assisting in reviewing and assessing data and transactional information for suspicious or unusual activities
Monitoring, responding to and investigating security, network, and application events for various systems
Reporting
Assisting with preparation of project status reports including outlining key accomplishments, items for discussion, and next steps
Assisting with preparation of reports (summarizing work performed) including detailed findings and result dashboards
Identifying areas of interest (i.e. cybersecurity, accounting, privacy, etc.) and completing trainings to expand knowledge in the designated area
Supporting Innovation activities by providing internal recommendations related to improving the way in which we deliver services to clients (e.g., through Automation, increased standardization etc.)
Qualification
Required
Associate Degree OR GED/high school diploma and 1+ years' experience in a business process or technical field
Well versed in Microsoft Office suite applications with emphasis on Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
