Data Systems Specialist
Achievers Network is supporting the Air Force Research Laboratory (AFRL) DoD Supercomputing Resource Center (DSRC) with a Data Systems Specialist role. The position involves providing strategic data maintenance, financial management, and program management support, along with participating in software development phases.

Responsibilities
Provides services in strategic data maintenance and analysis, financial management, cloud computing support, and program management (PM) support
Participates as needed in all phases of software development with emphasis on the planning, analysis, testing, integration, documentation, and presentation phases
Financial and program management systems support
Assists acquisition program managers and financial staff with data entry, programming, updating, analyzing, maintaining, tracking, and reporting on programs, projects and software and hardware procurements
Builds and adjusts lines of accounting
Loads targets for both Direct and Reimbursable Budget Authority Work in the Job Order Cost Accounting System (JOCAS)
Establishes and updates Reimbursable Order Numbers and Job Order Numbers
Creates funding documentation and loads incoming documentation, using the Budget Authority Editor
Performs Module Manager duties, using the Comprehensive Cost and Requirement System (CCAR)
General Accounting duties, using Advana system
Performs Tri-Annual Reviews, resolving Un-liquidated Obligations (ULOs)
Ensures financial/contractual documents are processed
Resolves accounting issues
Works with reimbursable budget authority and balances reimbursable accounts
Runs reimbursable reports, using COGNOS
Builds multifaceted Microsoft Excel Spreadsheets
Updates Skeleton Records at end of fiscal year, building new records in preparation of the new fiscal year
Provides services in the testing and execution of the AFRL DSRC Continuity of Operations Plan (COOP) for emergency and contingency operations
Participates in all disaster, readiness, COOP and similar exercises, drills, or real-world incidents
During disaster readiness, COOP, security and similar exercises, the Data Systems Specialist will assist in providing physical security including, but not limited to, serving as door guards, checking identification, and verifying workspaces have been cleared of personnel
Assists with proposal development, if necessary
Performs other duties, as assigned
Qualification
Required
Five (5) years of experience preferred
Must be able to effectively communicate with customer and fulfill all duties and responsibilities as listed in the contract
Must be proficient in Microsoft Office suite including, but not limited to: Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook
Must be capable of working independently
Strong written and oral communication skills in the English language. Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English
Must have exceptional customer service skills
Must have strong time-management and prioritization skills
Must have the ability to communicate applicable technical subject matter expertise to management and others
Secret security clearance required
This position supports a U.S. Government Contract whose terms require Sawdey Solution Services to staff it only with U.S. Citizens
