The Technical Artist role involves collaborating with experts to develop intelligent 3D asset generation workflows and improve production-ready AI-generated assets.

Responsibilities
Build future's 3D tool: Develop 3D creative workflow features based on generative AI, including but not limited to interactive editing tools, character animation, procedural asset generation, etc
Make AI-generated assets truly production-ready: Maintain and improve geometry, texture, material, and animation pipelines for 3D asset generation
Become the go-to expert for creative solutions: collaborate with art, product, and research teams to design 3D GenAI technical solutions for our users in various industries
Qualification
Required
At least 2 years of practical experience in a CG-related field such as rendering, geometry, game, or film production
A bachelor's degree or above in either STEM or art
Solid understanding of the basics of computer graphics, such as mesh topology, UV mapping, texture sampling, or skeletal animation
Familiarity with Python and C++ programming and have built internal art tools or plugins
Familiarity with 3D content creation tools (Blender, ZBrush, Houdini) and have worked on 3D art projects
Preferred
Great at speaking the languages of different roles, with the fluency to explain graphics technology concepts to non-technical team members
Understanding of concepts in generative AI or machine learning, and have applied 3D generative AI in your own projects
Experience in Web3D (WebGL, WebGPU, WebAssembly) stack and developed 3D editing web apps
Developed and maintained animation, geometry, or other 3D features in a production-level 3D content creation tool
