Responsibilities
Search Platform Administration
Deploy configure and maintain Lucidworks Fusion or Elasticsearch instances
Monitor platform health, troubleshoot issues and perform capacity planning
Implement and enforce security measures including access controls, encryption and audit logging
Optimize search and query performance through tuning, caching and pipeline configuration
Data Ingestion & Integration
Design data pipelines and connectors to ingest data from various sources into Elasticsearch and Lucidworks
Collaborate with Data Engineering and Application teams to support data flow and indexing processes
Ensure data consistency, accuracy, and timeliness in search indexes
Qualification
Required
Minimum of 8 years' experience working with Elasticsearch or Lucidworks Fusion
Hands-on experience with deploying, scaling, and tuning Elasticsearch clusters
Proven experience with Fusion platform administration, customization, and development
Strong understanding of search engine architecture, information retrieval, and relevance tuning
Proficiency with scripting languages such as Bash, Python, or similar
Preferred
Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes) is highly desirable
