Responsibilities
Create and document Engineering Change Request (ECRs)
Design, model, revise, designs with CAD (e.g. Siemens NX )
Identify root causes and implement corrective actions to eliminate production issues
Create and document Standard Work
Create and document Work Instructions
Perform time studies to resolve workflow problems
Identify root causes and implement corrective actions to eliminate production waste
Collect and analyze data to drive continuous improvement initiatives
Collaborate with different departments to resolve production issues
Lead, facilitate, and support Kaizen and other LSS events
Perform other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
High school diploma or GED required
3-5 years experience in a manufacturing and/or industrial environment required
Understanding of and experience with the utilization of LSS and problem-solving tools
Proficient in MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, and MS Word
Must possess strong analytical skills
Must be a self-starter and be detail oriented
Able to work independently with little supervision
Able to manage multiple projects
Able to communicate effectively and in a professional manner with all functional areas in the facility
Excellent employee relations skills for all interactions
Preferred
2-3 years of Boat manufacturing preferred (lamination and/or assembly)
Must have 2 years CAD experience (Siemens NX, Team Center 13, and Sigmanest preferred)
