Responsibilities
Lead development, fabrication and test of prototype and test hardware
Integrate the prototype and test hardware into laboratory and shipboard environments
Develop or revise integration plans
Develop, update and maintain hardware documentation include Hardware Development Plans for changes resulting from specification changes, testing, engineering change proposals and conversion requirements
Analyze hardware faults, performance loss, degraded performance, intermittent operational anomalies, requirement deviations and insufficient operability to determine root cause, generate alternative solutions and provide recommended courses of action
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or related discipline)
Minimum of 10 years of experience in hardware engineering for towed arrays, hull-mounted systems, and undersea sensors
Strong understanding of marine-grade materials, environmental sealing, and acoustic hardware design
Experience with CAD tools, PCB design, and system integration practices
Familiarity with military standards and specifications for undersea systems
Excellent problem-solving, communication, and project management skills
Candidate must be able to obtain a government security clearance to the level of SECRET
