Responsibilities
Manages and ensures timely completion of discrete technical and/or operational projects
Adheres to technical requirements for the project; defines and manages project deliverables, budgets, schedules, and risks
Oversees the project team in the planning, tracking, and execution of scope from initiation to completion
Assumes responsibility for day-to-day administrative/operational management of activities and functions in a designated program area
Contributes to the development, implementation, and evaluation of program policies, procedures, and standards
Determines program service levels and enhancements; assists with the development of and monitoring program budgets
Provides technical advice to staff, other departments, and performs related work as required
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree plus minimum five years of related DOE and/or nuclear experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Experience managing construction activities in DOE or NRC Hazard Category 2 type facility and associated hazards and controls with emphasis on radiological
EVMS Humphries & Associates and Control Account Manager (or equal) certifications
Construction and D&D management experience in DOE, nuclear, radiological facility
Earned Value Management Systems and Control Account manager experience and associated certifications
Professional and safety certifications relevant to construction in the DOE and nuclear complex
Preferred
Need to obtain Q-clearance, nice to have if active
Prior experience in work control setting along with hazards and controls management, radiological and operational experience where alignment with quality control, assurance and managing complex issues under NQA-1 is needed
