Responsibilities

Provide commercial and technical support throughout the lifecycle of gearbox and drivetrain projects, including design, production, testing, troubleshooting, and upgrade implementations
Lead failure mode analyses and reverse engineering efforts for gearbox and drivetrain components, delivering corrective action recommendations
Develop detailed CAD drawings and specifications for gearbox and drivetrain parts and assemblies
Create and maintain process documentation, including job travelers and test paperwork, to support assembly, repair, and quality assurance operations
Collaborate closely with production, quality, sales, customer service, and supply chain teams to ensure projects meet quality standards, on-time delivery, and budget objectives
Oversee tooling design and specify manufacturing and testing equipment required for gearbox and drivetrain components
Interface with customers for technical clarifications, quotations, and project status updates
Support global engineering efforts and share best practices across the Timken network

Qualification

CAD software proficiencyEngineering degreeTechnical MathematicsElectric motor knowledgeWorkplace safety knowledgeCommunication skills

Required

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Electrical or Mechanical)
Course completion in & proficiency with CAD software (Autodesk, SolidWorks)
Course completion in & proficiency in Technical Mathematics
Proficient communication skills (oral & written)
Fundamental electric motor knowledge
Fundamental knowledge of workplace safety
Valid driver's license
Willingness to travel
Willingness to continue education through training classes / seminars
