Responsibilities

Owning the development of new customer-facing social networking features
Depending on your preference you could work anywhere from 100% backend to full stack to 100% front end
Collaborating with product designers and leadership to create cutting-edge products
Building internal tools for the team as well as for AI
Optimizing applications for speed and scale

Qualification

Proficiency with TypeScriptProficiency with ReactProficiency with Next.jsMicroservice architectureNon-relational databasesAI/ML pipelinesProficiency with Node.jsFundamental data structuresMove fastRelevant engineering experience

Required

Relevant engineering experience at tech and product-driven companies
Proficiency with fundamental data structures and algorithms
Either A) Proficiency with TypeScript, React, Next.js and/or other web technologies, or B) Interested and able to learn our tech stack quickly, and having proficiency with other languages and frameworks

Preferred

Experience with microservice architecture using a variety of infrastructure services such as RabbitMQ
Experience with non-relational databases such as MongoDB and Redis
Experience with AI/ML pipelines
Ability to move fast in an environment where things are sometimes loosely defined and may have competing priorities or deadlines
Proficiency with Node.js, React, TypeScript, and Next.js
