Manage multidiscipline projects and subconsultants
Ensure compliance with internal and client project delivery procedures
Oversee technical standards, QA/QC, and loss prevention practices
Participate in project scoping and client presentations
Develop and lead training initiatives and knowledge-sharing programs
Provide guidance from conceptual design through completion
Collaborate with leadership to enhance staff development and technical resources
Stay current with emerging technologies and tools relevant to structural engineering
Contribute to professional organizations and industry publications
Qualification
Required
Bachelors degree in structural or civil engineering; Illinois SE license required
20+ years of experience in structural engineering, with a focus on transportation projects
Minimum of 5 years in a leadership or management role
Strong expertise in bridge, retaining wall, and related structural design for public, private, and transportation sectors
Proven ability to manage large, complex projects, budgets, schedules, and client relationships
Excellent communication skills with both technical and non-technical audiences
Proficiency in structural design software and Microsoft Office Suite
Preferred
Masters degree or PE license preferred
