Responsibilities

Lead project initiation, definition, planning, and coordination of key strategic initiatives, in partnership with the Business Relationship Manager (BRM) and VMO Portfolio Manager

Coordinates with BRM, senior leaders and executives to capture business requirements used to define scope and funding needs; establish business case outlining project investments

Identify and leverage appropriate technical and business resources needed for successful project planning and to accomplish project initiation objectives

Follow established processes and procedures and influence policy, practice and procedure

Define and assess project risk

Lead regular reviews with customers and stakeholders, including senior DT and business leaders, during the project initiation phase

Actively manage internal/external suppliers in decision and planning process for solution definition

Travel requirement within US possible to support project activities with geographically distributed teams – Up to 5%

Required

Minimum 10+ year's applicable experience and a university degree or equivalent combination of work experience in DT Project management and certifications with demonstrated skill working with technical teams to define and implement DT solution architectures, including software development, software configuration and integration, and DT infrastructure implementations

Knowledge of Human Resource and Payroll functional areas. This includes experience with applications and business processes used by the functions to deliver value to their customers

Experience developing business case justifications and cost/benefit analyses for DT spending and initiatives, including use of Portfolio and Solution Epics with experience managing multiple projects simultaneously

Solution Delivery experience with Agile frameworks like SAFe and DevOps Demonstrated skill on influencing and working across multiple organizations and levels, as well as across multiple geographic regions

Demonstrated skill leading and participating in virtual meetings with experience eliciting cooperation from a wide variety of sources

Experience working both independently and in team-oriented, collaborative environments and a familiarity with phase gating processes and bridging to agile execution
