They are seeking an experienced Technology Manager to serve as the Head of DevOps, responsible for driving innovation and establishing technological excellence within a management firm that oversees diverse assets and initiatives.

Responsibilities

Define and execute a DevOps strategy that aligns with business and technological objectives

Manage and enhance CI/CD pipelines to streamline code integration, testing, and deployment workflows

Promote the use of advanced infrastructure technologies such as containerization, orchestration, and serverless computing

Create and manage a high-performing DevOps team, fostering innovation, collaboration, and automation

Develop and enforce standards for infrastructure as code (IaC), configuration management, and monitoring

Partner with development, operations, security, and QA teams to ensure the delivery of scalable and dependable systems

Monitor and improve system performance, through proactive incident management and root cause analysis

Guide the transition to cloud-native platforms, while optimizing resource utilization

Ensure adherence to security, governance, and industry standards throughout the DevOps lifecycle

Drive continuous improvement through performance enhancements and automation

Assess and adopt new tools and technologies to strengthen DevOps capabilities

Required

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field is mandatory

Demonstrated experience in senior-level DevOps leadership within vast and complex environments

Expertise in CI/CD tools and platforms like Jenkins, GitLab, or GitHub Actions

Proficient in containerization and orchestration technologies, including Docker and Kubernetes

In-depth knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and associated networking services

Skilled in using infrastructure as code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible

Experience with monitoring and logging tools like Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, or Datadog

Solid understanding of microservices architecture, serverless computing, and distributed systems

Familiarity with security best practices, such as DevSecOps and meeting compliance standards

Exceptional skills in leadership, communication, and team development

Preferred

an advanced degree is preferred
