Responsibilities

Ensure project compliance with interconnection and grid code requirements across different ISOs and utilities
Coordinate and review grid studies in collaboration with consultants and equipment suppliers
Analyze and validate plant models using PSSE, PSCAD, and DigSILENT
Support project teams during design, testing, and commissioning phases
Provide technical input to development and EPC teams
Interface with ISOs, utilities, and OEMs to clarify requirements and ensure compliance
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of IEEE, NERC, and FERC standards
Contribute to internal procedures and best practices for interconnection compliance
Review and comment on interconnection study reports and facility study agreements
Participate in technical meetings with ISOs and utilities during project development
Support modeling and validation of inverter-based resources and plant controllers
Assist in the preparation of grid compliance documentation and testing reports

Required

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, or related field
Strong knowledge of US interconnection processes (PJM, ERCOT, SPP, MISO, CAISO, etc.)
Experience in renewable energy projects, especially solar PV and battery storage
Expert user with simulation tools (PSSE, PSCAD, DigSILENT, PSLF)
Excellent communication and coordination skills with multidisciplinary teams
