Responsibilities

Assist senior bankers in managing all phases of the M&A process — including pitch materials, kickoff presentations, buyer research and outreach, marketing materials, due diligence, data room management and closing coordination
Track deal milestones, organize client deliverables and maintain communication with internal and external stakeholders to ensure timely progress across multiple active engagements. Participate in and help lead meetings with clients and prospects
Create high-quality PowerPoint materials including pitch decks, Confidential Information Presentations and management presentations
Conduct industry and company research to identify key trends, competitive positioning and potential acquirers with strategic rationale
Analyze financial statements, prepare valuation analyses and build detailed driver-based forecast models to support marketing and client materials
Assist clients in preparing due diligence materials, ensuring accuracy, completeness and consistency across all deliverables
Maintain accurate, up-to-date information in Salesforce and other internal databases to support marketing initiatives and deal execution
Work closely with team members and across the investment bank to support business development efforts, win new mandates, and deliver successful client outcomes

Required

2+ years of work experience in investment banking, transaction advisory or a related role
Strong PowerPoint skills (experienced at developing polished, visually compelling materials that clearly communicate company positioning, industry insights and financial performance)
Strong technical skills (knowledge of accounting, modeling, Excel)
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Intelligent, resourceful, self-starter with a strong work ethic and collaborative mindset

Experience working with software companies is not required
