They are seeking an experienced Field Service Technician to provide timely and efficient machine repairs and installations primarily for customers, serving as the front-line representative for the BOBST product range.

Responsibilities
Machine Service (mechanical) & electrical, including the repair and installation of new machines, relocation of existing equipment, customer training, preventative maintenance, ordering parts necessary to perform installations and repair, troubleshooting problems and proactively recommend the necessary service and maintenance programs
Qualification
Required
90% TRAVEL REQUIRED – Candidates must have flexibility to travel extensively throughout US and Canada
Ideal candidate located within 1 hour from a major international airport
Technical school or college related to mechanics, hydraulics, technology science, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering
Minimum of 5 years' experience in the packaging industry or finishing converting industry working as a mechanic on Bobst die-cutter or similar equipment
Background in mechanical engineering
Diagnosing faults and make recommendations in customer environment
Knowledge of hand and power tools
Strong analysis skills and attention to detail
Independent, responsible work style
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to multi-task in a dynamic environment
Fluency with metric system
