Responsibilities
Machine Service (electrical & mechanical), including the repair and installation of new machines, relocation of existing equipment, customer training, preventative maintenance, ordering parts necessary to perform installations and repair, troubleshooting problems and proactively recommend the necessary service and maintenance programs
Qualification
Required
90% TRAVEL REQUIRED – Candidates must have flexibility to travel extensively throughout US and Canada. Ideal candidate located within 1 hour from a major international airport
Technical school or college related to technology science, i.e. Electrical Engineering
Minimum of 5 years' experience in the packaging industry or finishing converting industry working as an electrician similar equipment
Background in electrical engineering
Diagnosing faults and make recommendations in customer environment
Knowledgeable with VFDs, Servo drives, PLC logics
Basic computer programming
Electrical & electronic circuits wiring and troubleshooting
Knowledge of hand and power tools
Strong analysis skills and attention to detail
Independent, responsible work style
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to multi-task in a dynamic environment
Fluency with metric system
