Responsibilities

Manage the full-cycle recruitment process for scientific, technical, and corporate roles, including research, clinical development, manufacturing, and enabling functions
Partner with hiring managers to define role requirements, create compelling job descriptions, and align on sourcing strategies
Proactively source and build candidate pipelines using LinkedIn Recruiter, networking, referrals, job boards, and other innovative channels
Screen, interview, and assess candidates for both technical expertise and culture add
Prepare candidate offer packages for approvals maintaining market competitiveness and internal equity and deliver to candidates
Manage and collaborate with external recruiting partners/agencies supporting Contract roles from job description creation through onboarding
Provide timely updates and data-driven insights to hiring managers and HR leadership
Ensure a positive and professional candidate experience from first contact through onboarding
Be the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) Super-User and maintain records, ensuring compliance and accurate reporting
Support employer branding initiatives and contribute to building a strong biotech talent network through attending career fairs, industry networking events, etc
Train hiring managers and interviewers on recruiting process and interview best practices
Implement recruiting process improvements as necessary
Other duties and projects as needed

Required

Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 5 years recruiting experience, with at least 2+ years focused in biotech, pharmaceuticals, or life sciences with experience hiring for R&D, clinical, regulatory, quality, manufacturing, or G&A functions across a variety of levels
Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 8 years recruiting experience, with at least 5+ years focused in biotech, pharmaceuticals, or life sciences with experience hiring for R&D, clinical, regulatory, quality, manufacturing, or G&A functions across a variety of levels
Demonstrated ability to manage 15 open requisitions at one time while being organized and maintaining good communication to hiring managers and candidates
The ability to be adaptable and flexible to changing market conditions, employer needs, and candidate expectations, solving complex challenges as they arise
Strong work ethic and self-motivation to follow through on tasks, meet deadlines, and deliver results consistently
The ability to understand roles in depth and use smart questioning to understand the technical, soft, and cultural fit for each position
The ability to work with a sense of urgency and pace to ensure recruiting is enabling the recruiting process and not slowing it down
Strong knowledge of biotech industry trends, terminology, and talent market dynamics
Experience with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and HRIS platforms (e.g., Greenhouse and UKG preferred)
Skilled in sourcing passive candidates and building pipelines for niche roles
Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, growing company with shifting priorities
Ability to work collaboratively within an HR team

Preferred

Experience supporting Clinical roles across a variety of levels is highly preferred
Experience recruiting for cGMP cell and gene therapy manufacturing roles across all phases of development (i.e., Phase 1 through commercial)
Startup biotech/pharma experience
