Responsibilities

Independently, and in collaboration with assigned suppliers within the global supply base, process and execute quality activities. Maintain strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with internal / external customers to understand any quality impact to production and to disseminate information as directed by the Supplier Quality Manager or Supplier Quality Engineers
Under direction of others, execute necessary activities to evaluate supplied components are compliant with engineering specifications prior to release for production. During episodes of supplier quality spills, support NCM management activities to eliminate risk of use on out of specification components
Independently and/or in collaboration with internal working partners, define, measure, analyze, improve and control processes, programs and supplier performance to effectively, efficiently and proactively achieve strategic business initiatives and/or key performance indicators

Quality EngineeringBlueprint AnalysisGD&TASQ CertificationLean Six Sigma Green BeltContinuous Process ImprovementInterpersonal SkillsProblem-Solving Techniques

Required

Associate's Degree or Technical Diploma in Quality, Industrial Engineering or a closely related business field or equivalent combination of experience and education
3+ years' experience in a manufacturing, operations, quality engineering environment, required
Working knowledge of blueprint analysis including some experience with basic GD&T
Quality concepts: basic quality tools and problem-solving techniques

Preferred

2 years experience in engine or engine component manufacturing or assembly, preferred
ASQ certification as CQT or higher, preferred
Lean Six Sigma Green Belt training with project experience, preferred
