Responsibilities
Develop and execute PR strategies that align with company goals and brand positioning
Build and maintain strong relationships with key health and beauty journalists and media outlets
Plan, organize, and oversee press events, product launches, and media engagements
Collaborate with the brand manager and marketing team to ensure consistent brand messaging across all channels
Monitor media coverage, analyze PR performance, and prepare regular reports
Manage external PR agencies and partners as needed
Represent the company professionally at industry events, conferences, and media briefings
Qualification
Required
5+ years of experience in public relations within the consumer goods industry
3+ years of hands-on marketing experience
Proven relationships with health and beauty media/journalists and strong media pitching skills
Demonstrated experience managing press events and brand communications
Minimum 3 years of experience working directly with a brand manager
Must reside in the Los Angeles area and be available to travel to our Utah office 3-4 times per month
Strong communication, presentation, and project management skills
Preferred
Bachelor's degree in public relations, Communications, Marketing, or related field preferred
