Reliability Engineer IV- CdTe USA

Responsibilities
Develop and execute qualification plans for new technologies and components, ensuring alignment with reliability goals and operational standards
Collaborate with Quality, Development Engineering, and Manufacturing Engineering teams to integrate reliability requirements into product and process design
Analyze qualification and field performance data to identify trends, risks, and improvement opportunities
Prepare and deliver technical presentations to cross-functional teams and leadership, translating data into actionable insights
Drive projects from solution development through implementation, ensuring timely execution and measurable impact
Participate in Design Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (DFMEA) to proactively identify and mitigate potential reliability risks
Support continuous improvement initiatives by applying reliability engineering principles and best practices

Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical, or related field) with 10+ years experience in reliability engineering or related technical roles
MS Degree in Engineering (Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical, or related field) with 8+ years experience in reliability engineering or related technical role
PhD Degree in Engineering (Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical, or related field) with 6+ years experience in reliability engineering or related technical roles
Strong analytical skills with experience in statistical analysis and reliability modeling tools
Proven ability to lead cross-functional projects and communicate effectively across technical and non-technical audiences
Familiarity with DFMEA, qualification protocols, and reliability testing standards
Ability to mentor junior engineers and contribute to organizational knowledge sharing
Proficient use of all Microsoft Office suite programs
Up to 10% travel may be required
20/40 vision in both eyes together, with or without correction, is required
Must be able to comply with all safety standards and procedures
Ability to wear personal protective equipment is required (including but not limited to; steel-toed shoes, gloves, safety glasses, hearing protection, protective jacket or apron and arm guards, and a condition of employment and continued employment (requires little or no facial hair) for those requiring respirator use)
Preferred
Experience in renewable energy, electronics, or high-volume manufacturing environments
