Responsibilities

Build high-visibility, high-confidence, statistically-based dashboards and analytics tools to uncover new or breaking trends in customer growth or experience
Transform insights into action items for business and engineering teams, based on statistically-driven evidence
Develop and implement monitoring systems and strategies to quickly detect trends and regressions as they arise
Work closely with software and production teams to optimize user experience
Develop and validate models to forecast customer acquisition

Required

Bachelor's degree in computer science, physics, mathematics, statistics, or a STEM discipline
1+ years of professional experience building solutions with Python and SQL
1+ years of professional experience with statistical modeling and machine learning algorithms
Must be willing to work extended hours and weekends as needed

Preferred

1+ years of professional experience in analytics, data science, or machine learning
Experience building predictive models and machine learning pipelines (clustering analysis, anomaly detection, survival analysis, time series models)
Experience with data visualization skills, including experience in geospatial data representations
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Experience with developing and deploying tools used for data analysis, machine learning, and statistical modeling
Demonstrated capability to parse technical subjects on a deep level
Demonstrated ability to jump into ill-defined problem spaces and drive positive outcomes
Self-starter attitude, energy, and the ability to communicate effectively across business and technical disciplines
Experience designing and utilizing relational database (SQL)
Background in statistics or computational physics
