This role involves assisting in the design and implementation of technical solutions for electric distribution infrastructure and gaining hands-on experience in the assessment and planning of electric distribution systems.

Responsibilities
Assist in the design, development, and implementation of technical solutions for electric distribution infrastructure including overhead and underground systems
Support senior engineers in preparing technical reports, contract documents, and cost estimates for grid resiliency and energy transition projects
Perform calculations and design tasks using industry standards, regulatory guidelines, and best practices for optimizing energy delivery
Join field assignments with senior staff to gain hands-on experience in assessment, planning, and rehabilitation of electric distribution systems
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree in Civil, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering required
No experience required; however prior internships and/or relevant coursework are preferred
Strong theoretical foundation and familiarity with engineering software (Revit, AutoCAD, MicroStation, etc.)
Proficiency in Microsoft Office
Excellent communication skills and a desire to work in a collaborative team
Preferred
Participation in professional engineering society/organization preferred
Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification a plus
