Responsibilities

Leverage expertise in the field of earth science to provide laboratory and field support to clients

Apply leading-edge principles, theories, and concepts, and contribute to the development of new principles and concepts

Work on unusually complex problems and provide highly innovative solutions

Operate with limited oversight

Mentor or supervise junior staff in both company and technical competencies

Required

5+ years of experience in environmental engineering, and soil and rock mechanics

Experience designing, implementing, and monitoring environmental control systems to maintain regulatory and company environmental standards

Experience conducting analyses of hard and deeply buried underground facilities and the surrounding geology under applied loads, environmental conditions, and weapons effects

Experience examining seismic, electrical, or electromagnetics data to characterize underground facilities and hard and deeply buried targets

Active TS/SCI clearance; willingness to take a polygraph exam

Bachelor's degree in Geology, Geoscience, Environmental Engineering, Civil Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering

Certified Professional Geologist, Professional Geologist (PG) License, Certified Hydrologist (CHG), or Certified Environmental Geologist (CEG) Certification
