Manufacturing Engineering Intern - St Joseph, MO DAP (Summer 2026)
Clarios is a leading manufacturer of automotive and marine batteries, recognized for supplier excellence. They are seeking a Manufacturing Engineering Intern for Summer 2026 to assist in various engineering tasks including project tracking, field verification, and process analysis.
Responsibilities
Shadow commissioning and startup activities to understand the relationship between design, build, and operation
Update project tracking logs (RFIs, submittals, action items) under direction of the Project Engineer
Assist in field verification and as-built drawing updates for active construction zones
Conducting basic time studies or process flow observations to support layout or throughput analysis
Performing equipment tagging, nameplate data collection, and verification against the P&ID or single-line diagrams
Supporting material tracking, receiving, and documentation within Fieldwire or SharePoint
Helping prepare meeting minutes, photo documentation, and punch list items for construction reviews
Qualification
Required
Currently enrolled as a full-time student at an accredited U.S. college or university
Pursuing an undergraduate degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the US without the need for sponsorship, now or in the future
