Responsibilities

Actively participates with senior leadership in the development and execution of HR strategies. Strategic focus on next year and beyond, with reporting HR partner team managing annual operations. Manages competing long-term strategic objectives
Influences decision-making for senior business leaders by providing strategic HR insights and recommendations that align with organizational goals
Provides expert direction and guidance in talent development initiatives including executive succession planning, career development and performance management
Acts as coach to leaders to foster high-performing teams and positive morale across the business
Cultivates a partnering relationship with management and professionals, while maintaining an HR perspective. Establishes open and trusting relationships. Engages productively and proactively in business discussions
Performs role as change agent for implementing new HR programs and/or processes. Develops and executes communication plans
Advises management and professionals on the interpretation of personnel policies, programs and procedures. Seeks to ensure compliance and understanding of HR policies
Analyzes and provides advice to management on methods and approaches to resolve employee work problems
Assures HR programs are carried out in accordance with company’s policies and procedures. May propose improvement to the COE's regarding policies, programs and procedures to improve effectiveness of human resources and operations
Acts as liaison between Global HR and corporate functional areas. Partners with HR Partner teams and specialists on HR processes such merit, bonus, goal setting, performance evaluation, supervisory training, succession planning, and performance improvement/discipline
Leads strategic direction and development for one or more HR Partners within the Global HR team
Identifies and assesses improvement opportunities which will add value. Champions continuous improvement efforts. Assesses and supports the change management effects associated with the implementation of improvements. Proactively supports, encourages and facilitates staff to engage in continuous improvement activities

Required

15+ years of progressive HR leadership experience, including global and multidisciplinary exposure
Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree or HR certification preferred
Experience supporting construction, engineering or project-based environments desirable
Strong understanding of HR programs, policies, procedures, and employment law
Exceptional organizational development skills (change management, coaching, diagnostics)
Superior communication and interpersonal skills
Financial acumen with the ability to interpret and leverage financial data to inform strategic HR decisions and drive business outcomes
Proficient in utilizing a variety of HRIS systems to support business operations and workforce management
Consistently demonstrates a dedication to ongoing professional development and embraces a culture of continuous improvement in every aspect of human resources
Proficient in Microsoft Suite
Strong stakeholder management and internal client relationship skills
Excellent collaboration and communication skills
Strong management and supervisory skills
