Responsibilities
Lead the strategy, vision and roadmap for our self-managed (on-prem, private cloud, air-gapped) deployment platform—working closely with Cloud Engineering, Reliability, Security and Customer Success teams
Define and drive initiatives around FedRAMP, SOC2, ISO27001 and other enterprise security/compliance frameworks, translating requirements into product features, controls and offerings
Partner with engineering teams to deliver high-availability, scalable infrastructure and developer-platform tooling (e.g., CI/CD pipelines, IaC frameworks, observability, platform automation) that power both our product and internal services
Serve as the product owner for our “paved-road” developer experience / internal platform, enabling our reliability and cloud engineering orgs to operate with higher velocity, reliability and security
Work cross-functionally with sales, product marketing, customer success and support to understand customer needs in regulated, enterprise-grade environments, define success metrics, and ensure the product meets the needs of our largest, most demanding customers
Track industry trends in cloud infrastructure, platform engineering, developer tooling and enterprise compliance to inform product decisions and prioritize initiatives with measurable ROI and business impact
Qualification
Required
8+ years of product management experience (ideally 10+), with a substantial track record owning and shipping infrastructure, platform or internal developer-tools products at scale
Strong technical background (computer science degree or equivalent) and fluency in cloud computing (AWS, GCP, or Azure), containers/kubernetes, IaC (Terraform/CloudFormation), CI/CD, observability and platform engineering concepts
Demonstrated experience working on enterprise or regulated-environment products (e.g., FedRAMP, SOC2, ISO27001, DoD/air-gap, private cloud), translating compliance/security requirements into product features
Excellent collaborator and influencer: you lead through cross-functional teams (engineering, reliability, security, customer success, sales) without direct reports; you build alignment, drive decisions and deliver outcomes
Strong strategic thinking and execution orientation: you can define a multi-year roadmap, anticipate market/customer needs, articulate value propositions, set metrics and deliver results in a fast-moving environment
Outstanding verbal and written communication skills: you can explain complex technical trade-offs to executives, customers and engineers; you're comfortable with ambiguity and you thrive in open, dynamic organizations
