Responsibilities

Developing P&IDs
Sizing valves
Specifying instrumentation
Panel design
I/O assignments
Documenting and modeling design information
Ensuring compliance with building codes and industry standards

Qualification

Required

Bachelor's degree in Chemical, Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
At least 9 years of work experience designing Instrumentation and Control Systems
Working knowledge of PLC, PAC, DDC, DCS systems
Ability to work onsite (hybrid) in Portland, OR

Preferred

Professional Engineer (PE) license or Engineer in Training (EIT)
Ability to collaborate and work effectively in a variety of teams, including multi-disciplinary teams
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
Forward thinking, eager to learn best practices, and contribute with innovative ideas
Displayed ability to learn quickly and driven to broaden knowledge base
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Passion for buildings and construction
