Responsibilities

Design, implement, and deploy networking solutions at all layers

Develop, optimize, and support software to manage networking hardware

Work directly with customers and product teams to identify network designs and features necessary to achieve mission success

Develop instrumentation for networking performance and improve system efficacy

Create diagnostic, testing, simulation tools, and implement system level network testing

Develop networking simulation software for modeling real world networking constraints

Debug issues at all layers of the stack from low level kernel bugs to cloud networking issues

Required

3+ years of production-grade C++, Rust and/or Go experience in a Linux development environment

Interest and development experience in communications and networking of distributed systems

Experience building software solutions involving significant amounts of data processing and analysis

Ability to quickly understand and navigate complex systems and established code bases

A desire to work on critical software that has a real-world impact

Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a U.S. Top Secret security clearance

Travel up to 30% of time to build, test, and deploy capabilities in the real world

Preferred

Experience with Dynamic routing protocols (BGP, OSPF, babel)

Experience with VPN technologies (ipsec, wireguard)

Experience with Applied cryptography (public key infrastructure, TPMs)

Experience with advanced linux networking (nftables, ebpf, routing rules)
