Responsibilities
Architect and develop scalable backend systems and APIs from the ground up using Node.js and NestJS
Lead technical strategy and architecture decisions to ensure scalability, performance, and maintainability
Mentor and guide engineering teams, fostering technical growth and excellence
Collaborate with product, UX/UI, and frontend teams to define system requirements, integration strategies, and implementation plans
Demonstrate extreme attention to detail in designing precise data models and endpoints that support complex user experiences
Champion best practices in backend engineering, including coding standards, testing strategies, CI/CD processes, and performance optimization
Take ownership of technical challenges, driving initiatives, and continuously innovating to exceed business goals
Qualification
Required
7+ years of experience developing and architecting enterprise-grade, high-performance APIs using Node.js and NestJS
Deep proficiency in TypeScript, including advanced features such as generics, decorators, and asynchronous programming
Expert understanding of object-oriented programming, architectural patterns, and system design for modular, scalable solutions
Proven experience architecting and maintaining large-scale Nx monorepos, including complex project structures, shared libraries, and build configurations
Strong collaboration skills with frontend teams to architect seamless, efficient backend-to-UI integrations
Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts and lead productive problem-solving discussions across teams
Demonstrated ownership and accountability — a proven track record of driving results, delivering end-to-end solutions, and innovating to achieve strategic objectives
