The role involves collaborating with engineers and salesmen to develop engineering plans and drawings, preparing drawings from various sources, and developing new drawing methods.

Responsibilities

Work with Engineers and Salesmen to develop complicated and expert level engineering plans and Sales drawings

Prepare drawings from rough sketches, notes, marked-up prints, written/verbal instructions with CAD, and other design software

Translate existing plans into NTS formats

Develop new drawing methods/processes

Qualification

AutoCADREVITNTS equipment knowledgeCAD research proficiencyOSHA knowledge

Required

High School Diploma: associate/technical degree preferred

Minimum (5) five years' experience as a CAD drafter preferably in the construction equipment industry

Expert in AutoCAD and REVIT

Expert knowledge of all NTS equipment

Proficient in researching current state of CAD practice

Basic knowledge of the OSHA and applicable state and local requirements relative to Trench and Excavation Shoring and Shielding
