Retail Marketplace Specialist

Responsibilities
Maximize product visibility, share of search, and conversion by managing catalog integrity, digital shelf presence, and content optimization
Execute daily merchandising activities across Walmart Marketplace, Best Buy Marketplace, and emerging platforms
Maintain and update product content including titles, descriptions, images, videos, and enhanced brand pages
Apply SEO best practices and keyword strategies specific to each marketplace
Support seasonal and promotional merchandising calendars in coordination with brand and sales teams
Collaborate with the Performance Marketing team to align on campaign timing and product prioritization
Provide marketplace-specific insights to inform campaign planning
Participate in campaign performance reviews and post-mortems
Plan, track, and optimize promotional activities to increase conversions and support sales targets
Support promotions planning utilizing sales data and performance insights
Manage pricing and promotional setup including rollback pricing, coupons, and exclusive offers
Work with Merchandising teams to develop pricing strategies and execute promotional roadmaps
Coordinate with Marketing teams on messaging and launch timelines
Coordinate with supply chain and finance teams to align inventory with sales plans
Manage internal CORF creation and promotions checkbook
Monitor sales trends, adjust forecasts, and leverage data-driven insights to ensure availability and selection
Maintain marketplace-specific sales trackers and performance dashboards using Power BI and Excel
Support business review meetings by preparing weekly and monthly sales reports
Manage monthly forecast reviews and update model-level sales plans
Review inventory and weekly sales trends to accurately make recommendations on sales forecasts
Conduct weekly audits of pricing, availability and other digital shelf metrics
Ensure smooth execution of Marketplace operations, including order processing, issue resolution, and compliance
Work with Marketing, Web Operations, Finance, Logistics, and Supply Chain teams
Support onboarding of new marketplaces
Assist in resolving operational issues such as listing errors and fulfillment delays
Submit, track, and escalate support cases/tickets related to sales, marketing, and catalog issues
Act as subject matter expert for all things marketplaces
Coordinate and support business reviews with Retailer-side contacts
Provide operational updates and execution status for joint business planning
Stay informed on platform updates and communicate changes to internal teams
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, communications, or related field
2+ years of experience in e-commerce, retail marketplace management, or D2C merchandising
Proficiency with marketplace platforms (Amazon Seller Central, Walmart Marketplace, etc.) and web analytics tools (Google Analytics, Power BI, etc.)
Strong understanding of merchandising, sales planning, and digital shelf optimization
Excellent communication, project management, and cross-functional collaboration skills
Ability to adapt strategies to different retailer environments and requirements
Strong understanding of Amazon's operational and marketing ecosystem, including Vendor Central, Amazon Ads, and other third-party tools; additional Seller Central experience a plus
Proficiency in Power BI or similar business intelligence tools for data analysis and insights
Strong analytical and solutions-oriented mindset to adapt to dynamic eCommerce business needs
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask and meet deadlines
Self-motivated for effective and excellent follow-up and follow-thru capabilities
Effective communication and collaboration skills
Hybrid work policy (2 days in office, 3 days remote)
Familiarity with marketplace tools and platforms
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities
