Responsibilities
Provides and/or performs a variety of sleep diagnostics as prescribed by physician under minimal supervision with a wide range of patients (ranging in age) from adults to geriatrics
Expected to independently utilize current knowledge, training and experience to treat/test patients according to physician orders
Possesses the clinical knowledge necessary to act in consultation with physicians on matter of sleep
Qualification
Required
Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT)
Currently licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of Ohio or Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)
Sleep Disorder Specialist (SDS)
Preferred
Associates or Bachelor's degree in related field
Previous healthcare experience with emphasis on conducting sleep studies or as a CRT or RRT
