Start in 2026 SummerClean Harbors is seeking an Instrumentation and Electrical (I&E) Intern to join our El Dorado, AR team for Summer 2026. The intern will gain hands-on experience working alongside I&E Technicians on instrumentation checks, calibrations, and electrical maintenance tasks.

Responsibilities
Gain hands-on experience working alongside I&E Technicians on instrumentation checks, calibrations, PLC Ladder Logic, control circuitry diagnostics, and electrical maintenance tasks
Exposure to low and medium voltage electrical systems (480V and 12.47kV), including work with substations, switchgear, and motor control centers (MCCs)
Verify and update technical documentation as needed
Qualification
Required
Hands-on experience working alongside I&E Technicians
Knowledge of instrumentation checks and calibrations
Familiarity with PLC Ladder Logic
Ability to perform control circuitry diagnostics
Experience with electrical maintenance tasks
Exposure to low and medium voltage electrical systems (480V and 12.47kV)
Experience working with substations, switchgear, and motor control centers (MCCs)
Ability to verify and update technical documentation
