$24/hr - $27/hrAmbient is focused on providing top quality services related to Variable Frequency Drives. They are seeking a field service technician to work on VFDs in the commercial HVAC market, responsible for installation, troubleshooting, and servicing of VFDs.

Responsibilities
Installing, starting up, troubleshooting, and general service of VFDs
Knowing proper operation of hand and power tools, running wires, conduit work, and use of electronic measuring tools – multi-meters, amp clamps, and harmonic analyzers
Traveling to clients
Qualification
Required
Prior VFD experience
Working knowledge of electrical components and electricity in general
Working knowledge of the HVAC loop, circuitry, and schematics
Building Management Systems experience / working knowledge
Valid Driver's License
Ability to lift at least 75 lbs
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Willingness to work and learn
Preferred
Prior experience with VFDs as they apply to AHUs, pump applications, and cooling towers
