Responsibilities

Architecting, designing, analyzing, developing, and maintaining (typically in C#, Python, and/or NI TestStand) test instrument driver abstraction software, common test utility software, and data collection microservices

Testing and integrating common software on RF and digital test equipment

Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, program management, and quality assurance to ensure solutions meet requirements and are delivered on time

Develop and maintain documentation, including user guides

Troubleshoot and debug Test Sequence issues related to support library integration, and provide root cause analysis and recommendations for improvement

Leading and mentoring junior engineers to ensure successful project delivery

Developing and implementing technical strategies and roadmaps to drive innovation and improvement

Identifying and mitigating technical risks to ensure project success

Qualification

Required

Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering or related field

Minimum 6 years of experience in software engineering, with a focus on RF Test Sequence development and integration

Experience with developing and integrating test equipment control software

Strong grasp of Object Oriented Programming, with experience in C# and/or Python

Experience with NI TestStand

Preferred

Experience with Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment

Unit Under Test (UUT) emulation and simulation

Unit Test Driven Software Design

Strong understanding of RF principles

Experience with SCPI based instrument communication

Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Strong communication and collaboration skills

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
