Responsibilities

Partner with production teams to improve processes, methods, and operating conditions

Provide day-to-day troubleshooting support to resolve production issues quickly and effectively

Review production performance (safety, quality, scrap, rework) and implement corrective actions

Lead projects to design, justify, and implement new equipment and capital expenditures

Drive continuous improvement initiatives to increase yield, reduce cycle time, and optimize costs

Develop, review, and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)

Audit tooling processes, inventory, and quality; ensure compliance with procedures

Obtain quotes, write Capital Expense Requests (CERs), and oversee installation of equipment/tooling

Collaborate with global R&D teams on process improvements and product development efforts

Act as a leader on the production floor, modeling company culture and safety standards

Qualification

Required

Bachelor's degree in Engineering

Background in process engineering or polymer processing

Strong project management skills with the ability to work independently and multitask

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Office tools

Excellent communication skills—both written and oral

Ability to collaborate across functions (Safety, Maintenance, Quality, Production, Business)

Preferred

Lean / Six Sigma Green Belt (or higher) strongly preferred

Experience with Statistics, DOE, and process optimization

2 – 4 years of industry experience in process engineering or polymer processing

SolidWorks and AutoCAD experience preferred
