2nd Shift Team Lead
AISIN World Corp. of America is seeking a 2nd Shift Team Lead to assist in the day-to-day operations of the production section. The role involves overseeing team members, ensuring adherence to standardized work, and managing quality, cost, and delivery on the production line.

Responsibilities
Responsible for QCD (Quality, Cost, & Delivery) of the smallest unit at the production floor (The line(s) to which they are assigned)
Belongs to an hourly, "non-exempt" category
Responsible for ensuring his/her assigned team members are following the standardized work at all times
Responsible for giving on-the-spot correctional instruction when anyone is found not following standardized work methods
Responsible for making entries and revisions to the worksheets assigned to his/her lines
Responsible for promptly reporting any "abnormality" that occurs in his/her area of responsibility to his/her Shoku-Cho
Does not usually perform on-line work. However, in unavoidable situations where manpower is lacking, will perform on-line work
Check and prepare T/M daily work (Standardize work)
Keep training documents up to date
Check safety point all areas and 5's status
Motivation of team members
Control off line repairs, gather and analyze defect daily
Fill out daily production charts
Fill in for team member (vacation, restroom, etc.)
Train new members
Check checksheet, do first product check
Kanban setting
Discuss NG parts from MFG and Shipping inspection
Troubleshooting of production and quality issues
Implement abnormal occurrence plan if necessary
Overseeing cleaning activity
Keep Shoku-Cho informed of line(s) status
Staying close to your assigned line(s) to ensure availability to team for quality, productivity, & personnel issues
Perform all duties in conformance to appropriate safety and security standards
Will perform other reasonably related tasks within the Company as required by the Shoku-Cho or Management
Ensuring team members return from planned breaks on time
Reporting downtime according to trouble solving guide
Ensuring team members communicate respectfully w/ each other
Reporting behavior discrepancies to Shoku-Cho
Ensuring team members are performing standard work
Reporting policy violations to Shoku-Cho
Ensuring line begins production on time
Minimizing disruptions and line stoppages
Ensuring line does not stop before planned stop time
Ensuring 5S is maintained at all times
Provide feedback to Shoku-Cho concerning team member performance (efficiency, quality, behavior)

Must be able to work as part of a team. This includes assisting other Han-Chos and Shoku-Chos as needed
Must be responsible and have good attendance
Must be familiar with AEIL production concepts (Three point set, Toyota Production System, Value-added) and quality policy
Ability to work shifts, overtime, and weekends as needed
Ability to lead by example, motivate and supervise others
Ability to interact well with coworkers
Ability to understand, follow and implement posted work rules and company procedures
Ability to give and receive constructive criticism from/to both team members and supervision
