Responsibilities
Providing system design calculations and other related design services including coordination with the designs of other trades (architectural and engineering) under the guidance of Professional Engineers
Assisting in the design of Water Pumping Systems, valves, specialized water treatment mechanical systems
Taking ownership of the completeness, accuracy and timeliness of the work assigned
Demonstrating the ability to progress from basic design work assignments to more complicated and involved projects working in conjunction with a technical team
Qualification
Required
Internship positions require enrollment in a degree seeking program of Mechanical, or closely related discipline
Experience working on multi-discipline project teams
Coursework in fluid mechanics, hydraulics, or related courses
Desire to design building water/wastewater process mechanical systems
Preferred
Completed courses in fluid mechanics or hydraulics
Proficiency in Revit, 3D CADD
Prior work experience with a design firm in an internship or similar setting
