Responsibilities
Assimilation of Geotechnical Reports
Supervision of Drill Crew on routine projects and more complex projects as experience increases
Assist with Mineral Reserve Studies
Qualification
Required
4 Year degree from accredited institution in Engineering
Ability to lift 50 pounds 50 times per day. Occasionally required to lift 150 pounds (about once a week)
Work will typically occur in all types of weather and around significant construction equipment with exposure to dirt, grease, oils, etc
Walking over various types of terrain is required such as low lying swampy areas to mountainous, rugged terrain. Significant time spent bending or kneeling during each day
Most drilling operations require out of town stays
Preferred
Pursuing Engineer in Training Certificate or Professional Engineer Licensure for a current EIT
additional consideration for master's or other advanced degrees
