Responsibilities

Generalist legal role, with full ownership of contracts end to end

Primary focus on contracts, but will also support product, employment, privacy and more

Assess and mitigate contractual and corporate legal risks, providing clear, actionable guidance to leadership

Design and maintain scalable contract workflows

Contract Ownership: Own contract drafting, review, negotiation, and management to ensure compliance and business alignment

Process Improvement: Streamline contract workflows and implement scalable solutions to improve efficiency and reduce risk

Risk Assessment and Mitigation: Assess contractual risks, recommended mitigations, and escalate to the Head of Legal when needed

Generalist Legal Support: Provide pragmatic in-house counsel on corporate, vendor, and operational matters

Contract Management System: Responsible for end-to-end ownership of Ironclad, including workflow design, template management, and system optimization; equivalent CMS experience is acceptable

Required

4-5 years of experience in a legal department

Proven background handling contracts from end-to-end

Experience drafting and negotiating agreements

A background supporting corporate governance and routing corporate work

Must hold a Juris Doctorate degree

Preferred

4-7 years of in-house experience in a legal department

A background in general counsel-level work

Experience managing purchase, vendor, and developer agreements

Public company and gaming industry experience
