Texas Cutting & Coring and Texas Curb Cut are seeking a Full-Time Ground Penetrating Radar (GPR) Technician to operate advanced radar equipment on job sites. The ideal candidate will have concrete scanning experience and be comfortable working in various construction environments while maintaining a strong work ethic and communication skills.

Responsibilities

Operate advanced ground-penetrating radar equipment and other sensors on job sites

Coordinate and perform concrete scans of slabs and decks using GSSI GPR equipment to locate buried structures

Interface with Superintendents on job sites

Generate scanning reports when required

Interpret scan results and convey concrete obstructions to customers

Troubleshoot equipment issues

Required

Must have a clean/ valid 'Texas' Drivers License

Must be able to pass the 'Drug Test.'

Manual/ Physical labor will need to lift 60 Lbs or more and be mobile

Must be authorized to work in the United States via (E-Verify)

(2) years of concrete scanning experience

Self-motivated, detail-oriented, punctual and dependable team player

Professional and have a strong work ethic

Must be comfortable working on small to large construction sites

Interface with Superintendents on job sites

Possess practical communication skills; both oral and written

Must not be afraid of hard work

Have the ability to work a flexible schedule – including nights/weekends as needed

Potential/ Occasional travel out of town/ state

Help maintain a drug-free work environment

Demonstrates an enthusiastic and positive attitude

Be able to work independently and in a team setting

Troubleshoot equipment issues

Coordinate and perform concrete scans of slabs and decks using GSSI GPR equipment to locate buried structures – Rebar, post-tension cables, conduit, electrical wires, and pipes., utility locating, bridge inspection

Possess skills in Microsoft Office including Word and Excel

Generate scanning reports when required

Interpret scan results and convey concrete obstructions to customers
