They are seeking a Senior Principal Electrical Product Test Engineer to lead a small team of test professionals, develop and implement test processes, and ensure smooth operations on the manufacturing floor. Responsibilities

Oversight of a small group of test professionals responsible for product Test Engineering

Develop and implement test processes, detailed instructions, and test equipment necessary to electrically test complex electro-mechanical hardware

Provide hands on day-to-day support to the manufacturing floor ensuring smooth operation of test processes

Provide mentoring and general oversight and prioritization to our small team to test engineers

Assist in the diagnosis of product and test stand related issues requiring the ability to learn product functionality in order to debug product and test stands to component level

Perform periodic Test Process and software audits for compliance to AS9100 policies

Required

Bachelors of Engineering/Technical Degree or equivalent OR Associates with equivalent experience

12-15 Years Hands on test engineering related experience in complex systems test

Prior experience leading teams

Must be strong in digital, analog, and RF product test

Must be hands on and prepared to roll up your sleeves and work closely with assemblers, inspectors, test technicians, and peer design, manufacturing, or test engineers to work complex issues to closure

Must be able to diagnose electrical test failures and have the ability to learn product functionality in order to debug product and test stands to component level

Must have excellent interpersonal and communication skills and a desire to act as a mentor and a leader

A quality focus is desired with good knowledge of AS9100 quality systems and experience evaluating quality data and implementing sound corrective and preventive action

Must be comfortable preparing presentations and speaking and presenting to teammates of diverse backgrounds, technical capabilities, and levels of management

Must be highly proficient using current computer applications to solve complex manufacturing challenges

Experience with on-line shop floor and quality improvement enterprise software
