KBR, Inc. is seeking a highly motivated Systems Engineer to support an Intelligence Community Space customer. The role involves performing modeling and simulation of complex space systems to aid in the development and validation of requirements and architecture products.

Responsibilities

Modeling and simulation of space systems, space, and ground segments

Provide technical expertise in systems and engineering to support resilience enterprise mission operations activities, programs, systems, and processes

Support modeling and simulation, including threat assessments/impacts, trades, and analyses

Communicate technical findings to both technical and non-technical audiences

Participate in system design reviews and technical interchange meetings

Interface with customers, directorate/office representatives, and across system engineering groups to drive resolution plans and strategies for complex technical challenges

Required

Bachelor's Degree in the STEM field

5+ years' experience in the space systems domain

Prior experience with satellite systems

Experience in modeling and simulation

Experience analyzing and summarizing data with Microsoft Excel

Ability to generate and maintain technical documentation and reports

TS/SCI with Poly

Preferred

Object-Oriented Design and Analysis experience

Experience with orbital analysis tools such as Ansys Systems Toolkit (STK)

Prior experience with resilience mission fundamentals

Prior experience with sensor modeling

Experience with UML/SysML/UAF models

Experience working in an Agile development environment

Familiarity with IC and/or DoD
