Civil & Environmental Consultants, Inc. (CEC) is looking for a Geotechnical Project Manager to join their team in Pittsburgh, PA. This role involves managing geotechnical subsurface investigations, coordinating field operations, and providing technical reports and foundation recommendations for various projects.

Responsibilities

Manage and execute geotechnical subsurface investigations

Coordinate and monitor field drilling and sampling operations

Prepare boring logs and develop laboratory testing programs

Analyze lab data and perform geotechnical design calculations

Prepare technical reports and foundation recommendations

Provide input and designs for Building foundations, Cut and fill slopes, Retaining walls, Landslide remediation, Roadway rehabilitation

Oversee construction materials testing services, including Earthwork, Foundations, Slope stabilization

Supervise and mentor technical staff and field personnel

Communicate with clients, contractors, and regulatory agencies

Qualification

Geotechnical experienceProfessional Engineering licenseTechnical writingCivil Engineering degreeCommunication skills

Required

B.S. in Civil Engineering, Geology or related field

5+ years of geotechnical experience, preferably in a consulting environment

Strong technical writing and communication skills

Preferred

M.S. in Civil Engineering, Geology or related field

Engineer-In-Training (EIT) or Professional Engineering (P.E.) license
