Business Intelligence Research Analyst

Responsibilities
Dive deep into ETF trading and ownership data to uncover the stories behind the numbers—identifying patterns, relationships, and behaviors that shed light on how investors are engaging with our funds and the broader market
Synthesize insights from multiple sources—including ownership filings, brokerage platform data, and third-party research tools—to reveal new business opportunities and deepen client relationships
Collaborate closely with Sales and Marketing to turn analytical discoveries into actionable strategies—helping teams better understand investor motivations and identify where to focus next
Design and maintain dynamic dashboards and reports that not only track performance but bring clarity and meaning to complex data, empowering smarter, faster decision-making across the firm
Champion data accuracy and integrity, ensuring that every analysis and recommendation is built on a foundation of reliable, consistent information
Contribute to firmwide research initiatives that enhance ProShares’ understanding of investor behavior, market dynamics, and competitive trends—helping shape the intelligence that drives strategic growth
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Analytics, or a related field
1-3 years of experience in a data or insights-oriented role
Strong data research and analytical skills with a curious, investigative mindset
Strong proficiency with Excel; exposure to Power BI, SQL, or Python beneficial
Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality
Clear communicator who can tell a compelling story through data
Team-oriented self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
Preferred
Familiarity with Bloomberg, Morningstar, Broadridge, or SEC 13F data a plus
