Responsibilities

Leading all purchasing responsibilities for Mopar New Model Launch and Service parts

Coordinating Mopar Purchasing's work paths with cross-functional teams including Mopar Marketing, Planning, Supply Chain, Supplier Operations, and Engineering

Supporting Product Committee meetings and other product development and governance activities

Ensuring purchasing requirements and KPIs are met at each milestone by removing obstacles, aligning purchasing tasks with timelines, and prioritizing actions for execution and management support

Leading the sourcing cycle and proactively managing risk by systematically identifying, assessing, and prioritizing potential issues throughout the program lifecycle

Developing and implementing mitigation plans, monitoring risk status, escalating critical issues promptly, and coordinating cross-functional responses to minimize impact

Driving continuous improvement and root cause analysis to ensure lasting results and resilience in program delivery

Required

Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Supply Chain Management, or related field (ABET accredited)

7+ years' experience, including 3+ years in Supplier Quality, Purchasing, or related areas

Strong organizational skills; excels in fast-paced, complex environments

Self-motivated, resourceful, and able to manage multiple projects

Results-oriented leader with experience guiding cross-functional teams

Strategic thinker with strong tactical execution abilities

Excellent communication skills; comfortable with all management levels

Deep understanding of Group Purchasing business processes

Proficient in MS Office, SAP, and Qlik Sense

Effective under pressure; strong interpersonal skills

Willingness to travel (0-20%), primarily within North America

Preferred

Applies strong program management skills to drive results

Communicates effectively, both in writing and verbally

Collaborates well within cross-functional teams

Utilizes supply chain systems and understands part setup/engineering processes

Leads sourcing, supplier engagement, and contract placement

Solves problems creatively and is results-oriented

Ensures proactive and effective communication

Proactively identifies, assesses, and mitigates risks throughout the program lifecycle, escalating critical issues and coordinating cross-functional responses as needed
